Normally, I arrive two hours before your ceremony begins, or earlier if there’s a change of location involved. This time is all about documenting the anticipation through natural, documentary-style wedding photography. I blend seamlessly into the background to capture the raw, behind-the-scenes energy of the morning. I won't interrupt the flow unless you’ve requested specific moments, like a first look with your parents or your wedding party, which are very sweet and effortless to coordinate. Once you're fully dressed and feeling ready, I step back to give you some breathing room before the ceremony, then head out to wait for you at the aisle.
Chapter 1
The Morning Quiet & Preparation
During the ceremony, your presence and peace are sacred. I will never be intrusive, block your guests, or stand directly in front of you. Instead, I move as discreetly and silently as possible to ensure there are no distractions while you focus on exchanging your vows, your rings, and your first kiss. These are the moments that become your most treasured wedding photos.
Chapter 2
The Vows & Unobtrusive Documentation
If you're planning a confetti shot, I'll step in to help organize the crowd. Right after the confetti is thrown is the absolute best time to capture a big group shot of everyone present—before your cousin escapes to the bar and your auntie disappears to the loo! Most couples prefer to take their specific family group shots and romantic couple portraits right after this, so they can head straight into the party, but the timeline can absolutely be bent depending on what you need on the day. If you need to spend an hour simply eating canapés and drinking champagne first, we will find a different time slot before or after your meal. Whether your wedding in North Wales is by the coast, in the mountains, or at a countryside venue, your timeline is always built around your experience.
Chapter 3
The Celebration & Moments
Throughout all the in-between moments, I am actively scanning the room, capturing those candid, unfiltered interactions that remind you exactly how the day felt. You can sit back, raise a glass, and be completely present. If your celebration includes a traditional cake cut and a first dance, I will be right there with you, staying on the dancefloor until I’ve captured a magnificent collection of energy, laughter, and high-vibe dance shots through heartfelt wedding photography.
Chapter 4
In-Between Magic & The Dancefloor
Once I am confident that your visual archive is complete, I will always come find you to ask if there are any final, spontaneous shots you want before I head out. If you’re content, I’ll wave you goodbye, wish you the best night of your life, and head home to immediately start backing up your memories and editing your 48-hour preview gallery, so your wedding photos are safe from the very moment I leave.
